Liverpool Walks for groups

"The Liver Bird Trail"

(Part Two: Town Hall to Conservation Museum)

Theme: A leisurely stroll looking at just some of the other Liver Birds in Liverpool and learning about the buildings on which they are to be found. N.B. There is no need to have done Liver Bird Trail 1 first

The Liver Birds on the Liver Building may be the biggest in the city but they are just the tip of a feathery iceberg! Various versions are to be found engraved on buildings, as sculptures, in mosaics and even on the city's rubbish bins. Together, we will hunt out some of these birds and also consider its origins.

Feel free to bring binoculars!

Duration: The walk will last approx. one and a half to two hours

All walks will go ahead regardless of the weather. Please wear suitable footwear and bring a rainproof. We aim to take every care of your safety but you are reminded that you always walk at your own risk

This walk is one of several that can be booked by groups, societies, and clubs—don’t hesitate to enquire for full list.
