The Liver Birds on the Royal Liver Building may be the biggest in the city, but they are just the tip of a feathery iceberg!

Various versions are to be found engraved on buildings, as sculptures, stained glass, in mosaics and even on the city's rubbish bins. During our stroll, we will hunt out some of the finest examples and consider its origins as well as learning about the history of the buildings that they adorn.
