This Blue-Badge Guide led walk is a celebration of the contribution made to Liverpool by her Welsh population in various fields including medicine, retail, religion, sculpture and construction. In a city where two-thirds of the Victorian buildings were built by Welsh builders, we will hear about the lasting contribution made by the Scouse Welsh (the Squelsh?) such as Owen Owen, Sir Alfred Lewis Jones and Sir William Goscombe John.
