"A Stroll around St George's Hall Quarter" Walk"

A Blue Badge-led guided walk, ideal for those who don't want to do too much walking around  some of the gems of Victorian architecture.

This area is naturally dominated by the splendour of the neo-classical gem that is St. George's Hall.  But William Brown St., the city's only street dedicated purely to culture, with not a single house, pub, office or shop in it, more than holds it own beside it and helps to make up what has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004.

Opposite the Hall we will pass along Lime St and then stroll through St John's Garden,  once a burial site, learning about some of the local personalities commemorated there by a statue – some still famous like William Gladstone and others largely forgotten.
